Back Story:

Jest and his sister Macey were a mysterious pair that showed up at Toon Town one day and asserted themselves in the neighborhood, Macey came to the town as a way to make a bundle for the wood she sold as the Town was growing in population and to support her and her brother. 

Jest then started taking job offers as a magician to make it easier for Macey to not have to work all day cutting wood and/or selling it at the market. That’s when Jest meet Jack who took his offer as a magician to entertain others and became good friends, often stirring up trouble and pulling pranks.

No one really knows how these Macey and Jest are even related as when they were asked questions like, “where did you come from?” or “Who’s your creator or parents?” 
They would always dodge the questions saying things like, “Places.” Or “None of your business.” Macey would almost always head to “Penny’s Coffee Shop” to drink or to just hang around, which is how she was considered a “friend” who would just talk to the employees or sell them fire wood. Jest was acquainted with them for the times he would tag along with Macey or just to take her home on the RARE times she was too drunk to walk.
